Fred spent the early years of his career playing with bands from Florida and Michigan before landing the drum seat with Midline. “Midline was the first band I had been in where everyone had the same passion and goals. That mindset is what made it possible to accomplish the things we’ve done”. Not only is Fred an accomplished drummer, his onstage persona is a must see. With frequent comparisons to Morgan Rose and Shannon Larkin, we asked if that bothered him; “ no, not at all says Fischer. It’s a compliment to be compared to those guys! The truth is, I’ve always played this way even before knowing who they were. It’s obvious though, that we share similar approaches to the instrument”. Aside from Midline, Fred is an independent drummer for hire, works a session drummer and has a full roster of drum students.
